History
A few years ago a handful of us realized we were no longer satisfied with church as usual. So we decided to start Lone Tree Community Church. It took us a little while to figure out how to experience relationship with God that is more like a best friend then a concierge in the sky or a law enforcement officer. But God is gracious and good and when you truly seek Him, you find Him. This is probably the most important thing for you to know about us at Lone Tree, we’re pursuing Him like He pursues us. I know some people don’t feel pursued by God, but that is who He is a pursuer! Life is not about survival, it is about a destiny in Christ that surpasses our wildest dreams (1 Cor 2:9) and this destiny begins here and now! If God is not the most exciting thing in your life, then you don’t know the true God; you have been fed something that falls tragically short. Jesus wants to break down all the lies that insulate you from hearing Him, knowing Him, and falling in love with Him. So if this is the desire of your heart, to know a God that is wild about you (Ps. 139:17-18) come to Lone Tree. We’re not the most polished group; we meet in a jungle after all. But if you are hungry, you can come and be satisfied. We have met Jesus and you can meet Him here too—and your life will never be the same!
